Food by Design is Giving to the Gorge this year!

Our goal is to get 200 native trees back into the gorge this spring and we’d like to invite you to participate with us during the Giving Tuesday extravaganza on Facebook where we can double our donations via their generous incentive program. So, friends,

Please join Food by Design November 28th for #GivingTuesday, or what we like to affectionately call it, #GivingTreesDay! Join us in making a difference in Portland’s backyard! We’re raising funds to replant native trees in areas of the Columbia Gorge affected by the recent fires. Every donation counts, whether in Portland or anywhere else on this beautiful earth! Did you know that donations made through Facebook this Tuesday will be matched by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation? Your contribution makes a difference for everyone! Here’s a short video we made with a more in depth look at this project!

The Children’s Museum of Tampa’s Kid’s City

The Children’s Museum of Tampa’s Kid’s City, an education outdoor exhibit of a miniature city at The Children’s Museum of Tampa. Together, we inserted the element of sustainable architecture which is not currently incorporated at Kid City or in American cities at large. Politically, this piece challenges the current establishment of capitalism, the construction industry in material and process, and is proudly located across from a mini McDonalds.
